Collectors' Forum Watch --CF3

OK, finally --here's some news:

The good news is that we are very close to finalizing a model and design for the watch. I will say it is in the Pilot's line and has a manufacture movement, but beyond that I think we need to wait until the design is finalized.

The slightly bad news is that the watch will not be ready until sometime in 2014. Product Management let me know that "the watch will be earliest summer 2014 in the market".

I know that Georges Kern has endorsed the idea and also likes the preliminary design. I have requested some modifications, so we'll see where it all goes. And, please, remember that nothing is final until it's all final!

Best news I've heard in quite a while!

Can I "sign up" for one sight unseen, design not finalized, dial color not announced, and price not yet determined? :-)

As I sit here on business in my hotel room in Paris, I look back to that time in Geneva @ SIHH, with Mr Kern which was quite special / priveledged for all of us. The CFW has certainly gained traction since that time and thank you for your continued commitment on this. Please pass on my regards when you next have an exchange, unless he is a regular here !
