Can't wait for more details... With little more than a year to go we'll have plenty of time to feed all sorts of speculation and build lots of expectations, can't wait...
That's what happens when you don't visit the forum for a while> ;-) Great news, Michael. A Pilot looks like an excellent choice. I do hope that everyone has the chance to buy one. I am looking forward to further news later. Thanks, Peter
The Ingenieur had a grey dial instead of a black dial, the Da Vinci had a silver dial with gold coloured markers and hands instead of a black dial and silver subdials with silver coloured markers and hands. So, the differences should be sought in the easy to interchange parts like dials, and maybe even straps.
Thanks for the clarifications. So given changes are more likely cosmetic than an upgrade of movement, it is steel, and it already has an in-house movement we really are narrowed down to Spitfire or BP only. I could live with either but preference would be BP. Bring it on.
The CFDV is also different I the fact it has a rotor which is embossed Collectors Forum 2010 and 1 out of 100 on it all viewable through a sapphire case back. In addition it was delivered with a unique metal bracelet, with micro adjustment.
Excellent news! Let us try to be patient, avoid to interfere, avoid to launch a thousand personal wishes, avoid to be impolite and uncivilized.....as we have seen what this can bring to a Forum. Kind regards, Adrian, (alwaysiwc).
I haven't been around for CF1 and CF2. But still I like them both very much. I could even say I like the CF2 more. (I wonder if they are still available?) Trouble is, the CF2 is out of my budget. So I can only hope, the pricing for the pilot third in the line will be more friendly. As I do not have a pilots watch yet... ;o)
