    i don't see many posts on da vinci's in here.
    is there a reason for this?
    are da vinci's not big hitters on the forum?

    Hi Stephen.
    Have alook at some of threads that I have started in the past week or so thy are a mixed bag, as you will read.
    But they all refer to my Da Vinci.

    imho: A DaVinci is such a perfect watch that there is not much to talk about..:-)

    But there are quite a few interesting articles either in the forum or the archive. You should find them with the search function. Good luck and

    that post referenced a discontinued model....

    ...it was the old-style perpetual calendar, as redesigned several years ago (first as a rattrapante) with a larger case and Arabic numerals. That model was not a large seller, in part due to its lugs and also because the original Da Vinci had been so long in production. I suspect the buyer obtained a "new old stock" example that probably was made a few years ago.

    I've been told that the new Da Vinci chrono has been a very strong seller but not many have been made. I would estimate that total production still has been under 2,000. As such and also just due to coincidence, there hasn't been as much discussion of it on the Internet.

    yes, I think the da vinci range of chrono watches are very nice; but i find them too big and bulky>
