    Hi

I just bought big pilot yesterday. Last night I mistakenly wound it counter clockwise and adjust the date @ around 00-01am.

Now I worry if this causes any damage to the watch and how do I do some checking and verification?

    Welcome Catkee,

Winding counter-clockwise doesn't harm the movement and doesn't wind the watch either. Setting the date around midnight though can seriously harm your watch!

The only safe thing to do is do nothing and see if the date changes correctly around midnight (plus or minus five minutes). If it does and keeps doing that, you are extremely lucky! If it doesn't you have to send it in for repairs.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    Hi CINQ,

    Thx for your reply

I remembered at the time I adjusted the date, the date indicator already changed to another date.

And I just check @ 0005, the date has just been updated as well. May be a good news to me
