Very nice watch but..
I "refuse" to consider it with the upcoming European championships ;-)
It would have been a different matter if the watch was for the Dutch soccer team. On the other hand....I am not sure about an orange dial.
So I will stick to the other Doppel ;-)
Regards, Peter
Thank you Michael
The dial is not exactly my taste but It is OK I guess.
Why not a Swiss Nattional Team Edition I wonder instead of the German?
Or even better one for the defending champions Greece?
Thank you for the details Michael.

Agree with you... wise words!
I agree too...
very nice watch and color combination, the back makes it however a "no go" for me... ;-)

I think this one is a real winner
I really like the aesthetics and the special totalizers for game time and extra time are a very nice touch. Thanks MF.
Wow. I am glad to see IWC broadening the Doppel...
That is a great dial - a couple years ago - it seemed as if IWC was pushing the "Doppel" out of the collection - but I guess, it was simply a resurgent step in a powerful broadening of the Doppelchronograph which now has so many variants and options for buyers.
Just fantastic.
PS - it appears that Soccer is a delicate subject in Europe. Hope that enthusiasm works for selling watches.
This might not be everyone's cup...
of tea, but that is what limited editions are for. I like the dial; it is certainly unique.
I thought about wearing this one ;-)

me: one of these orange ones...
May I add something?
I think it is an excellent design! Usually I am not fond of using opposite colrs but this one is very special, also with the red and yellow colors. It must be special to be part of the German soccer team.
Since I have no allegiance to "futbol"...
I have to say I love the look of this watch. What does the +5 and +15 on the top subdial signify (or time)? Would that be for overtime?
Of course, finding one is going to be a bear. If anyone knows of one, please let me know.
Thanks,
Larry

Thank you
Thank you for the information
Well spoken ;-) nt
Not from Europe, but I do like the watch...
Very easy to read and I like the red and yellow.
I would love to own one. nt
I believe the top subdial at 12 has...
a marker at the bottom which denotes 45 minutes running time for each half . Then red markers at 9 and 12 of that subdial mark extra time. Or you can look up at the scoreboard...
