Several years ago I bought an IWC Doppelchronograph with both the metal band and a leather strap. The leather strap is only imprinted IWC and 21 at the lug side. Is this a genuine IWC strap? In other words, did IWC have straps with no model number produced?

i want to add an additional question: i have Pilot Top Gun and i am looking for a strap which is made of silicone - have anyone come across a high quality compatible silicone strap?
also, do you know who is the manufacturer for IWC of the original leather strap for the Top Gun?
