Always very nice to talk about "ocean bund". Martin is a great testimonial of this watch. Thanks for the article and thanks to Martin for the great help given to many collectors ( including myself) on this watch
Great and rare collection- a 'must visit' to see this rare assemblage at the museum. Thanks, Martin, for sharing this.

I do indeed know Martin and I am looking forward to see his fantastic collection in the museum in November.
Great article!

Very nice to see the passionate members of our community featured in this way. What a fantastic display this will make at the museum.
Very well done Martin
I've always been envious of those who had an Ocean Bund. It would be the watch I would pick for my foray into vintage IWC's. I'm sure Martin's collection will be a great draw @ the IWC Museum. I would love to make the trip to Schaffhausen for the occasion. Thanks for the informative article about Martin's IWC "journey."
Great article on Herr Dohrmann. Enjoyed reading it and learning more about his passion and commitment.
I love that so many people are going to be able to see these watches because of this collection. Wish I were able to make the trip to Schaffhausen myself before the end of the exhibit. Well done Martin!!!
An excellent article and what a collection!
Well done Martin.
Always keen on to learn something new be it watches or the collectors. Thank you for the article.
Hear hear, it's a true pleasure to know Martin and with his incredible collection and Bund knowledge it's fantastic that collector and museum team-up!
Kind regards,
Bob
Thanks for sharing this wonderful article to introduce the IWC x PD Ocean BUND! Thanks Tonny & Martin's passionate contribution! I'm fortunately to acquire a nice Ocean bund 3509 & got most of the wrist time during my work!! I hope I can have a chance to visit the IWC museum to view the Ocean BUND exhibition!
I saw Martin’s collection at the museum about 2 weeks ago and it’s very impressive. Well worth seeing if you can get to the museum
Martin is a great guy above all.
Thank you for this article interviewing an important collector such as Martin and for highlighting the Ocean Bunds. These are not just my favorite IWC watches, but my favorite watches of all. I still don't have all seven Ocean Bund references so the hunt goes on!
Great collection Martin.
I’ ve trained with bundeswehr kampfswimmer (all issued with the IWCBUND) in my time as an Officer at the special forces.
During the three months einzelkampfer ausbildung I followed at the Kamptruppenschule des Heeres in Altenstad and Hammelsdorf (Germany) they offered me one, to trade, against the watch I was wearing at the time.
Not knowing the value I declined, still regretting it nowadays.
Perhaps I come across one to ad to my collection.
Always brings back good memories (Great fighters with Great watches)
In case you wonder what were doing..
we’re preparing diner. (no chicken was harmed in the picture).
notice the IWCBUND on the feldwebels (NCOs) wrist.
Amazing experience Bas
Thanks for the great article! I enjoyed getting to know Martin and how his watch collection passion started.
