This one was recently spotted at the Las Vegas boutique. Reasonably priced as well. Boutique is just outside the Year of the Dragon display at the Palazzo Hotel.
The watch is a limited boutique edition.

There are occasions that thin watches rule Alan, this one looks great indeed if only it was powered by IWC...

Nothing wrong with a Piaget movement. Especially when IWC has no movement this thin.

I like it a lot. I actually contemplated purchasing one, but the challenges with availability pushed me to get its big brother 5454 instead.

this one I found very interesting - especially the caseback engraving -- love that. Unfortunately those few weeks when I cavorted it, a serious circa 1993 contender edged it out.

Thanks for sharing Alan - hope u had a great trip. Is it also your understanding that only black and white dials, and steel, versions have been made ?

Absolutely agree with you Alan but it would make things better if it was an IWC movement

@David. Yes it is my wrist.

@Shing. I believe those are the two versions.

If I actually had more occasions to wear a suit I might buy one. Even though it is thin I like the look.

AFAIK only Stainless Steel and only Black or White dial for the Pure Classic, I am not sure whether it is 500pcs for each dial color or 500pcs combined. Love secret models like this one, don't know what's the last time they have plan for secret model?

The Las Vegas boutique had the best inventory I have seen there since it opened several years ago.
I saw a complete VC set in platinum, a limited edition silver dial BP BOUTIQUE edition, a white dial Plastiki,a Jones model Tourby, and the usual standard models. All of these had been previously posted here by others.

many thanks for sharing alan. am in vegas next month and hope to see then as well what 'secret' goodies they might have. do these boutique folk people ever mind you taking photos of these things but er... potentially not necessarily buying them then and there? (still recovering from my IWC purchase last month so can't buy anything... but then again if blackjack tables are kind to me...)

in regards to the watch... looks great but for me personally it's dial is missing something. not necssarily a date or sub-dial... but something, perhaps a gradient/texture.

    regards,
    vinhthang

I don't know what it is, it looks a bit too naked to my eye: is there too much symmetry? I certainly would prefer the 5454, or the steel 5445 that I wear right now. At 10 mm it is flat enough for me.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    I do!

A Romana like ref. 2050, 38, 40mm at the most, would be great!
