Double Chronograph 3711 or 3713

Since years I IWC is my passion.

I have several timepieces like the big pilot, portuguese regulator and de Da Vinci Chronograph (CFW). No I am thinking about buying a double chronograph 3713 or 3711 on steel bracelet. Can you pls share your experience and maybe pictures. And do you have an idea where and for what price I could get a watch in a good condition.

Hi Roger,

You are looking for a great watch. I think you can't go wrong: but what I like most is the 3711 .. and this because of the think sapphire. It really gives the watch a vintage look.

But be careful and look for a nice aged T dial:)

My preference, because it's the one I own, is the 3711. It is the first in the series, the 3713 replaced it as you know. The major differences are the domed crystal and tritrium hands and markers, neither of which are part of the 3713. There may be some modifications to the movement, which someone with more info can talk about.

It looks great on a beads of rice SS bracelet.

You can't go wrong with either one, whichever you choose. Post pics when you decide. This is a non commercial site and we rarely discuss pricing. If you repost with your email address, someone may be able to reply directly.

thanks a lot for your pictures and comments. Now I need your advise again.

I have an offer for an 3711 with the german date, and a new dial with SL instead of T. On the other hand I can get an 3713 with the original dial with T markers. The price of those watches its about the same level. What is your recommandation.

I like both watches, so there is just the questions which one is more valuable.
