Sorry for the long absence, but my available funds have been otherwise spoken for in the better part of two years, thus nothing to report on the wristwatch front. Now, however, I have developed an inexplicable fixation for dual time/GMT watches. Hence the question: are there any Ingenieur Dual Time (ref. 3244) owners here, and if so, I would very much like to hear their experiences. More specifically, based on the images I fear that the bracelet may be too wide where it meets the bracelet.

    Thank you in advance.

I can't help with the question regarding the specific watch, but since owning a GMT I love it. Having moved away from my birth country, I have my GMT set to it's local time, thus an easy reference when in need. Also, very easy to view home vs local time during travel planning.

I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say "the bracelet may be too wide where it meets the bracelet". Are you worrying about the width of the bracelet, the clasp, or the lug?

It surely feels substantial when weight is of concern, but seeing that you have a few ingenieurs already, I don't think you will have problem carrying it.

It's just an aesthetic issue: integrated bracelet or not, the entire construct - lugs and the base of the bracelet at the lugs - seems disproportionately wide. That may of course be because most of the images I saw so far were the renderings on the IWC site. I hope it is clearer now.
