Hi there. My Dad just bought this watch on ebay and it was shipped to me. I know nothing about watches but it feels wrong. Would anybody be kind enough to take a look at the pics and offer a an opinion?

    Hi Potatochip
Well, first of all this is an IWC or International Watch Company Forum and the watch to which you refer is an Omega!

Being an Omega guy, I can tell you that it looks like a Vietnam Era Military watch or a copy of one. I need to check my resources when I get home and if this post has not been removed, I will try identify it for you. Looks interesting though! Just one or two details worry me.

It's a watch coming from Vietnam to be precise, with a chinese movement. These are made with just about every watch manufacturer under the sun, on the dial ;-)
I never thought anyone can fall for these any more, after there being so many warnings out!

    Regards

    Jimmy
