A basic question on Cal 83 watches-
Is there a website (and maybe I am just trying the wrong search terms and its right in front of me!) that lists all the different cal 83 dials from 1930-1950ish, perhaps with quantities produced as well?

Below is an example of a watch where I was curious how common the dial is. I think this one is from the 1940s, but I haven't seen another with quite the same, which made me think I should really learn what dials have been produced and what they should look like...to spot the ones that don't look right and educate myself-
    Thank you
    Mark

Numerals on that are very different to my mind. 2,4,5,7 very stylised and I am just guessing, Cyrillic influence?

These numerals are new to me as well and the case looks odd - do you have any more images?

Many catalogs are accessible in the forum. Just search for IWC Vintage Catalog Project and you will get there. You have to ask Marc when this is getting back online though... I had a similar question - Check my earlier post as I posted some catalog references. From my view the dial is not authentic, but renewed. I remember having seen that watch on the internet somewhere. Check the movement and other signatures.
