Exclusive! A report on the IWC Museum

Tanja Warring, IWC's Museum curator, has prepared a report for our forum members about the Museum's first year and what it will be doing in the future.

I've been communicating with Tanja for some time now, and she's taken the time to prepare her report as a favor for us. I think you'll be more than impressed with what she is doing and has already accomplished. I also believe we all owe Tanja a lot of thanks. She's a true friend of IWC collectors.

I visited IWC in June 2006 before...

the new museum was opened. Can't wait until the next visit at which time I will get a chance to check out the museum.

Exclusive! A report on the IWC Museum

Very interesting report.
Thank you MF for sharing this with us.I wonder if this report is available in German as well, as a lot of German Collector's are just in the german section of the forum.
Are there any plans to "file" the museum collection online,to say as a teaser for a "live" visit?
There is some space available of the old sales market ;-))

for German forum members....

...for the time being I'd suggest that you should feel free to direct them to the report in English or this string. The report was made for made at my request and initially to my knowledge was written in English. I have a tendency to "pester" people at IWC for forum content. I'm sorry that the report is not available in German, but I'll keep that in mind for the future.

Interestingly, Tanya wrote me and asked me to edit her English before publication. She said that, if that were too much trouble, next next she'd write in German and have it translated. I told her it was a pleasure to be the language editor, and I really appreciated her contribution. As you can tell, the report reflects a lot of thought about a lot of good work.

P.S. I've pestered another IWC executive for a special contribution too. That hopefully will be published here next week, and again in English.
