Very interesting to compare it with the new one

I switch to and fro between the pictures of these two very beautiful watches. As the size difference is not clear you can only compare the relative differences.

• The three hands of the old watch are longer.
• The numbers of the old one are more pressed to the outer ring and are a bit further away from the inner ring.
• The railtrack of the old watch is a bit more pressed to the rim of the case.
• The numbers and indexes of the new watch seem to be of a better quality: a bit sharper, but also a bit smoother.
• The subdial for the seconds hand of the old watch seems to be a bit larger.
• There are other obvious differences like the brand name.

I am really looking forward to my new one, all in all the design of it is just a bit more balanced.

The comparison to the...

new Vintage series is inevitable. I think the designers did a great job of capturing the essence of this beauty while allowing for a more modern approach. But I still like the old script and font as shown in this picture.

What a wonderful picture! Can't wait

until I get my new Vintage Portugueser in my hands - this Tuesday! I won't get home and be able to take pictures until next Sunday, but you can bet it will be on my wrist!
