I have not seen this dial design on a 1939 example, but I'm not sure if I recall seeing any 1939 example in person. However, this image is actually the watch depicted in the new catalog,

I think to be fair the new vintage Port dial is much more finely executed than the variant highlighted here. I cannot recall a dial from a manafacturer with a railtrack ..with the numerals fouling (least not an original one) and the mis-alignment between 3&9 is poor for such a prestigeous piece.
