    Great write up . . ..

    Hello Michael,

Congratulations on a beautiful watch. The standard white gold regulator is stunning enough. Adding a tourbillon makes a great watch even better.

By the way, I think we are the last group you will need to defend the purchase of an IWC tourbillon. Most of us on this forum are not practical people—at least not when it comes to wrist watch purchases.

Thanks for the great article. I hope you wear your watch in the best of health.

    Respectfully, George

    it's making me sick

    thanks for that michael!
every time i see or hear of this watch i get butterflies and that is (as you know and orchestrated) partly your fault!
i still can't find enough information on it and my AD will not get one in on APRO because there are none available.
i even spoke to the IWC UK rep about it and he knew nothing but promised me info on it and it hasn't arrived.
when do you get it? and if it's not too cheeky to ask, could you email the price of it?

    MF's dream watch - a PRT

    Many congratualtions Michael.

I was so delighted to know of this project a little earlier than some others and your passion for this watch is truly contagious.

I cant wait to see your wrist shots and smile shots too.

about the PRT can be found in an article which appeared in Watch International no.4 (December 2007). Congratulations, MF, for a purchase of a truly wonderful and rare watch.

    Great news Michael!

You told me in SF that this one was going to be the pinnacle of your watch-collecting escapades... but at least your honest enough with yourself (and us) about waiting to see what next year brings... :)

Wear it in the best of health!

MF, a well deserved achievement in >>>

    ...your watch collecting life, congrats!!!

Your PRT essay was a wonderful 'read' and my own personal love affair with the PRT is growing stronger ever since I had the privilege to try on the Platinum version in Geneva last year!

I must say that when reading your report, your euphoric feeling towards this watch was infectious, LOL!!!!!!!!!

    Congratulation :-)))
