Is the time when non-Perpetual watch owners need to do the most manual work. I am adjusting my current weekly selection and just thinking that it would be great to have my simple watches with the added perpetual date complication. It is a model that doesnt exist to the best of my knowledge and would be a great technological advancement as far as I am concerned. Its a pity that such a movement without the other bells and whistles (i.e. year, moon phase etc) doesnt exist in the IWC portfolio. Did it ever exist ? Yes - clearly if you have the date perpetually coordinated why not have the moonphase etc - but just my thought.

Yes - I envy the IWC perpetual owners......

    Hi Andrew,

I checked my Portuguese Perpetual Calendar yesterday night, it worked great. And right now I completed adjusting the other 3 watches with a date.

The watch that you describe comes from Schaffhausen... It looks so simple that you don't see it if you don't know it. It has a fairly big date, and a central indicator for the months according to the hours: 1 = January, etc. As it is a perpetual calendar you never have to adjust it. It is a very beautiful watch to look at.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing nothing at the moment (see my next post...)
