Last week I finally got a new box to house my IWC watches. After years of putting them away in a cheap semi-leather box they now have the box they deserve. I'm really glad I was able to get one of these older leather IWC boxes in as new condition. Only problem is the amount of space left ;-)

Those are great boxes, Norbert. Too bad they aren't available any more from IWC.

Your watches deserve this great home.

    Looks much better.
BTW, looks like we share three watches in our collections. The AT, GST and the Plastiki.

I like the Box - and the watches!

Norbert, great move. It must have felt so claustrophobic each and every time you put some of those fine watches away in the old case - now, all you need to do is take your time on deciding as to how you will fill the other half of the new box.

That wont be easy...as you have some fine watches there (as Alan knows too) - and complimenting them will take some thought (and significant investment).

    Best regards
    Mark

Norbert, it's the box for your IWCs. The human mind works in such a way that it likes to 'fill up' blank spaces. I can your empty slots being filled up pretty soon. Good luck.

They look great in there, Norbert! Nice collection!

We only share one watch in common (Aquatimer), but we share the same box (except mine is white outside).

These are terrific homes for IWC's. I was very lucky that a good friend allowed me to purchase this one.

    Hi Norbert,

Ever notice that these beautiful IWC boxes, which were manufactured in the late 90s, are perfect for holding the large watches of today! Someone was definitely on the ball!

For us truly crazed and obsessed, perhaps the next one should be a 64-watch box?

The IWC display boxes are wonderful, but unfortunately no longer available. I am lucky to have one of each of the black and white version. I cheated and used the same watches in each picture. I hope that IWC will at some point make these available again for sale or promotional items.

Would you believe that those 12-watch boxes were gifts from IWC at the first (2002) collectors' meeting in Schaffhausen?
