This one took some time to get. I ordered it in January and I don't think I've ever waited as long for anything. I haven't seen any of this model in stores, so I suspect this is part of the first production at least for this metal. I leaned today that production of mine is finished, finally.
Of course, I don't have it yet. It'll take another 2+ weeks to get it here. But I suspect the wait may be worth it.

it's not a Vintage Collection model
the burgundy color strap is used only on white gold models. The VC watches are now available only in steel or, for the limited edition, platinum.
It is a watch in the current collection but not in the 2008 catalog.
I'll post more, elsewhere in this string so I can reply to some of the others.

...you know, there's something about not counting chickens before they hatch.
I really don't mean to make this a guessing game, but I may be superstitious until it's on my wrist. I just had to say something after a huge sigh of relief, following a six month wait and countless e-Mails.

As far as I know there already is a Portuguese Regulateur white gold with ardoise dial know as ref 5444-04. Looks like Michael is going for a tourbillon instead...
