My choice was a 3717 and i wan´t to buy it next week.
But now i have a offer for a good (like new) UTC Classic
    with the brown bufffalo-strap.
At the moment it´s only one watch possible.
Which one should i buy ?
    Any comments ? Thanks.

    Greetings, Jörg

I would go for the UTC Classic. It has a fine UTC Modul which was designed by Kurt Klaus. If it is in a like new condition go for it!

I personally think the 3717 is an absolute classic. Right sized, right designed, and can be dressed up or dressed down. A chronograph is more useful than a second time indication, and also from a horological perspective more complex.

I would take the pilot's chrono...
it's a classic, dressy, and sportive watch that suites in all ocassion.

I loved my 3717....right until I had to send it off to service today. Anybody have any experience with IWC service in Texas?

My 3rd. IWC is an UTC and I like it very much. The 3717 is a nice watch too, maybe, my next watch, and its movement is the same as in the Portofino chrono.
It seems that the UTC isnt very interesting for IWC fans, and I dont know why because at least for me, it is a nice watch and very useful too even though most IWC agents don`t have it in stock.
