    Hi IWC fans,
    a few months back i posted on this forum to get some additional info regarding the old series of Aquatimer's, the 3548 and 3719. Those two are alongside 3538 are my favorite IWC models, and it took me about 9 months to find a decent one in great condition with all additional goodies.

    So in the end i decided to extend a budget a little bit, and got a chrono version: the 3719.

    Hope that you like the pictures.

    Thx for reading :)

    Yes, this is one of my all-time-favorites! I still wear it (the titanium edition) every now-and-then.

    I have always been a fan of titanium. I had my heart set on the titanium edition of this watch when I was making my purchase. However, upon examining the steel one in person, I instantly felt in love with it! the details, the polishing, the light reflected from the applied dials... wow. All these made my purchasing decision at that time extremely tough. I just set there in front of the salesman for an hour just staring at the watches, trying to make up my mind.

    In the end I still picked the Titanium one. However, I have not forgotten this ever since. What a lovely and beautiful time-piece!

    My Titanium Aquatimer (along with an old catalog) says hi:

    That's a fantastic looking Aquatimer chrono Nono01 and some top shots too!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Edit - typo

    @ABS0

    Thank you :)
    You know, after i bought my 3719 i drop it off to my watchmaker for a service (nothing wrong with it, but it was 7 years old so better deal with it now than later) and it had the exact same watch like you had. I had put both on and then it hit me, i really need to get a titanium version as well :)
    It's the same watch, but a totally different scheme with that toolish look and light material. Really unique watch, i hope to get it in the near future. Or the titanium 2000m version 3538.

    @-AJS-
    Thank you very much for your comment :)

    NoNo01, not sure if you still want 2 of the same watch (essentially anyway).
    If you want to get another titanium IWC with similar styling of your aquatimer, may I introduce IW372503 to you? this to me is truly unique. Not as easy to find as the aquatimer chrono.

    I have posted a comparison of these two watches sometime ago... you may want to take a look. The new Lewis Hamilton AMG edition, of course, is another choice as well... but it is a bit different than these two.

    Tnx Kelvin for that link, the Ingy is a great alternative and worth checking it out. I had a plan to acquire Ingy 3227, but that watch deserves the nickname "Wrist destroyer" :D

    haha. I won't deny that. Its weight does take some getting used to... also check out my other (old) post on it:

    Beautiful photo about a beautiful watch! Wish IWC produced again a 42 mm 7750-based AT chrono with reset-operated underglass bezel...
    Enjoy!

    Beautiful AT. I'm looking at adding one to the collection. Hopefully a Vintage Collection Aquatimer, if I can ever find one. They seem about as rare as hen's teeth.

    @Logan
    Well the vintage Aquatimer is a stunner, but a bit on a big side with it's 44mm. It's a watch with internal bezel so it wears a bir large on the wrist. But a phenomenal piece of mechanical marvel!

    I've never had one on the wrist but I think the 44mm will work for me. I have other 44mm watches and wear them without issue. I'd certainly like the opportunity to give it a try.
