I kept hearing people asking how would the titanium Ingenieur Dual-time look with a titanium bracelet... since I have both the dual-time and the bracelet, I might as well do an experiment with them...
So, which do you prefer, Ingenieur Dual-time with titanium bracelet, or Lewis Hamilton Ingenieur with a Nico Rosberg rubber strap?
Kelvin, these are both very interesting combinations. Out of the two, I would pick the Hamilton/Rosberg combo.
Pairing original Parts in a way that was not intended by Schaffhausen is always a nice thing to do. I attached the textile strap of the titanium 3227 AMG to my steel 3227 and this is a great match. On my 3878 Spitfire Chrono I have the brown leather strap of the 3878 Saint Ex, also very nice to look at.
Playing around with oem parts sometimes creates such stunning watches, that one might wonder why they were not taken into the IWC catalog in this way.

The dual time with the titanium bracelet from the hamilton looks great. I have a dual time and am considering buying the titanium bracelet. A quick question does the bracelet from the hamilton fit the dual time without any modifications / additional parts ? (my dealer says he thinks it will fit but cannot guarantee..)

Yes, it does. No modification at all, just remove the rubber strap and put on the bracelet.
