    Hello to the forum members.

I wish to enquire how well and for how long do the pilot chronographs glow in the dark?

I am also would like to know witch parts glow as well? I believe that the minute and hour hands glow. Is it only the 3,6,9,12 o'clock positions as well or does every hour marker glow as well?

One more. Are these features repainted at a five year servicing? I assume that the glow in the dark material has a limited life span.

Drawing closer to a final decision. Thank you for your time.

    Paul.

I have the 3717 chrono that is just being replaced for the new models.
Hour and minute hands and as you correctly say 3 6 9 and 12 have the lume. Possible to see the lume after 2 hours faintly. The more light it is subjected to before turning the lights off the stronger the initial lume. As to how many years it will last that I do not know and I doubt that lume is topped up unless the dial needs replacing or repainting.
