    Hi All,

I'm sorry that the pictures are poor, but took them with my mobile.

First image is from my unrestored Ingenieur (last November) and the second from the Ingenieur after IWC Spa.... great job.... will look for some time to post better images!

    Greetings, Martijn

    Excellent Spa Treatment.

I am anxiously awaiting an IWC Golf that has been in Schaffhausen since February. I will be thrilled to see it after its vacation in CH.

Wear your restored beauty in good health, Martijn.

You mean the "vintage Vintage" Inge! ;)

Nice work on what appears to be a new dial.

    Regards,
    Michael

Thanks guys and some more info:

The watch was in very bad condition but bought it in Brazil quit cheap and know full restauration was needed... so I anticipated that.

I can't tell you where it came originally because they forgot to send the excerpt with the watch. My AD will get that for me (I guess..).

I thought the dial was original .. but IWC found out it wasn't so they put in this replace dial... which is very very nice! Of course a vintage dial would have been great.... but this dial is just stunning! The work they did on the case is fabulous, though you can still see it's an old watch... some marks couldn't be fixed.. but all in all it's very nice done. I've put a leather strap on it and will get some pictures one of these days.

The crown was an old crown (the very old fish style).. I asked to keep it, but I guess it was worn out.. there's a new one now.

Anyway... really like the looks of the vintage vintage Inge.. and it will suit my 866, CFI and Jumbo very well.
    Thanks for your comments.

    Greetings, Martijn
