Thanks for sharing this great news, Tonny.
Will check that our right now. =)
Great initiative by IWC. It shows a real confidence in their products.
Great news.
I successfully extended some warranties by 6 years. A very satisfying
experience.
Can't seem to register my Safari. Good initiative though!
This is a GREAT move by IWC.. I just registred quite a few watches.. Love the
confidence and only further strengthens my opinion of the brand.. Nicely done!
Outstanding!!!
This is epic. Thank you IWC.
This is of course a good thing / positive move, but isn't as upfront in its
make up, as to get the product you have to sign away your personal data.... I
have never needed the warrenty on any piece in the first 8 years, so actually
is your data worth more?
Just asking the question.....
I'm curious what personal data outside your name and email address were you
forced to provide? It's clear that IWC wants to be able to get a sense of
what their customers are buying so they can perhaps target you with sales
efforts. I'm happy to provide my name and email address for 6 years
additional warranty and potentially thousands of dollars saved.
Keep in mine a lot of brands ask for your name/address etc on the warranty
papers.
A great idea!
bravo IWC!
cheers
Just the same as you, my point is, no opt in, no warrenty extension, so
therefore your data is worth a 6 year warrenty extension, worth bearing that
in mind
So I'm assuming you won't ever send your watch to a service Center as they'll
need your name and address? It's kind of moot - as even if they gave you an 8
year warranty without having over your name, you would have to give it to them
to perform the service work anyways.
Ive done both mine, very easy process
