Were there any made whether LE or not in precious metals?
Amazing post here Alan.
We have seen the GST PPC come past before, and each and every time someone posts a picture, they command and get the respect they are worthy of. But as we see here, very few of us realise that there were so many different dial variations.
We see dial variations on other particular Ref. numbers - but somehow I sense that these PPC had more dial variations than other watches. Thats interesting on a watch which was upper end - no?
That is what makes This forum, the bestbwatch forum on the web...true passion brings out all the knowledge.
Thanks for this one.
Best regards
Mark
@ Greg "Were there any made whether LE or not in precious metals? "
...interesting to see if anyone will post a picture for as we know, GST=Gold-Stainless - Titanium!
So definately there is a Gold precious metal one out there! Cant say I've ever seen one though.
Best regards
Mark
GST = Gold Steel Titanium, is that for real? Never knew what it stood for. Learn things here day after day!
Absolutely true. I have seen all the variations except gold.
Seen some in Bond Street but never the gold variant. Love the white dial with red 12 but also fancy the Ti model.

silvered dial.
Sure Greg, as Allan writes ....
For example here is a picture of the GST line-up in the Ref. 3707

I have 2 out of the 3 in my collection - not prizes (sorry) for correctly guessing which 2 :~)
The GST range across almost all the Ref. Numbers were very successful sellers for IWC - for a comprehensive listing check out Greg's reponce here:

The Stainless Steel versions were made with Italian dial and even French dials: 2001/2 ref: IW3756-04, 08, 12?! never seen one... please post pictures?!
Kind regards,
Sun
Found a IW375618 on the net:
Hi guys,
I recently purchased an IWC GST Ref. IW375605, but its missing the manual/instructions book.
Does anyone in here has it? I really want to enjoy my new piece, but Im afraid to brake it.
Best Regards,
Mariano
There was no gold on the newer models featuring the Rattrapante and Perpetual Calendar.
Wasn't there a blue dial too? At leas for the Rattrapante:
I'm still on holidays 1400 km away from my catalogs but I'll try to think about checking that back home.
A great watch indeed having not been valued enough at its time. I never really understood why.
I was thinking of buying a Rattrapante for a while. Probably still not too late?
