Hello I was asked by the owner of two original Hanno Burtscher drawings to get some Information about the drawings. So I thought this is probably the best forum to do this.
One drawing shows the Da Vinci, the other one shows the Mark XI.
Does someone know anything about the history and value of these drawings?
Would be very thankful if someone could help me out.
Burtscher was the original designer for IWC in the 1980s, and some info is in archived posts.
I believe you are seeing prints and not original drawings. He did several in the late 1980s, including also the Portuguese Jubilee. The market is thin for these since only avid collectors want them --but for them the are valuable. I bought one once for a few hundred francs.
