Happy new member here, special thank´s to Michael!

Hello everybody, thought I´ll make a short intro. New here to the forum, I am very glad that I got struct by the IWC gen, and this summer when my wife and I celebrated 25 year of marriage, both at the age of 44, I got my first IWC, the Port Auto ref. 5001.

Today an sweet surprise waited for me coming home from work; an letter from Michael Friedberg with an issue of Watch International. And to make the evening even better I got an mail saying I have an book to pic up at the local store.

So after dinner I took the car fast to pic up the book, and here it is. Great way to end a monday night and to start of the workweek!

That's some heavy reading you have to do. Enjoy the experience. It is a lot to absorb, but well worth it. Welcome to the Forum and keep posting pictures as your collection grows as a result of your infection with the IWC Uhren-virus.

On Bill's comment about IWC uhren-virus, I learned a few days ago of a related disease: it's called "IWC envy".It is Freudian in derivation and the diagnostic code has not yet been established, so there may not be insurance coverage for therapy visits.
