Has anyone seen the new ceramic pilots chrono?

How is it in person? Do you know when it will be avaliable in the US?

I tried on a ceramic Top Gun Pilot's-Chrono last Saturday at my
AD in Massachusetts. It was nice. Very light weight compared to
the 371704 that I wear. I did not buy it or take any photos. I'm
on the waiting list for a Big Pilot's and unfortunately can't buy them all.

I have tried it at my AD two weeks ago. Here a picture on my wrist and one which shows it in comparison with my 3717.

Certainly when these Top Gun watches were presented the opinion on the German forum was very negative, much more than here on the English forum. I myself am not a huge fan, the logo at the back I find outright ugly. But then, when you wear the watch you don't see it, so that is not really a problem. At the moment the watch is growing on me, although I will not buy one: there are limits, and other beautiful watches will come. From the marketing point of view I find it a very smart concept: a few pilot's families that sell very well, for every taste one.

It is nice to dislike a watch, it gives you the opportunity to buy another one that you like better.
