.......that you don't even get the urge to change?

Bill commented in a recent post that with the new crown, he's been wearing his VC Portofino more often. I am the same way and the "ease of use" has everything to do with it!

So, it's now day-3 with the Portofino and today is back to basics with this suit/shirt combo! It's hard to beat a classic White shirt ;-))))

Although, this Neapolitan shirt would also be great!!!!

Nad, excellent shots, glad that minor change out worked so well for you. I feel the same way about my Top Gun Double Chrono. Find I'm wearing that much more frequently.

Yes, I know. Sometimes I will go weeks without changing my watch. This seems to be a recent development for me. Perhaps a sign of aging?

The DaVinci is one of those watches that I can get "into the rut" with and wear it for a couple weeks straight. The CFI is the other.

Somewhat like your Portofino, the DaVinci also has a "crown issue". Ask any Boutique associate which watches they despise setting and winding - and they'll say DaVinci. The crown is small, smooth, and tapered in the opposite angle (smaller at top than near case, opposite to BP). It causes cramps and hurts sometimes.

It's just easier to keep wearing it, to keep it powered - knowing that the other 7-day powered watches in the safe will keep going. The last thing I want to do is let the DaVinci wind down - and have to set it. It would be the only watch I would get an auto winder for.... Hey, that's not a bad idea....

Great wrist shots from all of you! Nad, I agree on the white shirt. When I go try multiple watches I usually try to wear a white shirt. This is the most neutral and works well with all kinds of watches, dial- and strap colors!

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Yes, I experience the same with this watch. It felt natural from moment one. Today, again.

I can imagine your love for that VC Portofino too, a lot of class.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

When I was wearing my Mark XII on leather strap it was so comfortable I nearly didn't feel it was on my wrist. When I tried to put the pilots chrono Patrouille Suisse on my wrist I figured out the issue ;-)

No alcohol was involved in the above sensation ;-)
