    Hello everyone.
I saw this IWC aqua-timer chronograph EXPEDITION JACQUES YVES COUSTEAU at the watch shop on the street in Japan.
have you seen this color on aqua timer chronograph before?
I thought this may be copy one.

    any idea?/site_media/ckeditor_images/ebb60fff7a3900c43f010cb16a5706fb.jpg

Thanks for your reply.oh you do think so?
actually I was thinking about this was smelling something strange...
so That's why I tried to ask you guys here.

by the way what gives you attention for fake?
for me, this watch doesnt look having IWC Quick change strap system.
if this has it we can see silver color push button.
but we dont see them.that's why I thought this is a fake and also poor quality.

    thanks!

What makes us think it is a fake?

    1) the only black aquatimer of this series is coated by rubber, including the bezel.  The one shown has too shiny a bezel.  Definitely not rubber-coated.
    2) the push buttons look fake
    3) the black ones come with in-house chronograph movement with two sub-dials only, not three.
    4) overall, this watch just looks funny.
    5) IWC never made an aquatimer like this.

Agreed, Bill.  What I meant was there was no 3-sub-dial black aquatimer of the current series of Aquatimer.  Nonetheless, we are both correct.
