I know the words heavy and elegant in one sentence are not common to read, but in this case, they are more than appropriate.
This is the Portugieser ref 3532 in platinum, heavy and elegant.
Cal. 887/2 automatic movement,from JLC, 36 jewels, platinum-edged rotor, silvered matte dial, applied Arabic numerals.
The "small" Portugieser came in addition to the ref 5441, the Jubilee, being a smaller case, it fitted more for smaller wrists or those who prefered a smaller case. At 35 mm it is today considered small, but the presence at the wrist is remarkable.
The platinum case and buckle give the watch a certain feel at the wrist that is nice.
The silver arabic numerals on the wilver dial are in some angels barely visible, what gives the watch an even more appealing touch.
So happy to have found this one to add to my collection.
