Hello:
I am located in Southern California USA. My IWC hub is the boutique Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills.
I don't feel comfortable calling myself a collector. There is a responsible attached that goes beyond the enthusiast. I have seven IWC watches purchased of the last few years modern vs. vintage. I have a few vintage. If I was collecting my next IWC would be a ref 325 Portuguese. Modern would be a minute repeater if I could afford it. Some of the coolest IWC watches are master builds perhaps one offs. I saw a skeleton recently that knocked my socks off.
I work in the media technology field. I assume this is the reason way my interests are so heavily focused on form and function. IWC as a primary watch company for me has to do with history, how staff treat their customers in addition to quality of product. IWC treats the user as more than a number - we are family.
I have one IWC pocket watch hopefully with a picture if I can figure out how to post.
