Hello, I know this is annoying to ask but I bought a Portuguese chronograph red gold with a white dial. I did not really think about which dial color I wanted so I just went with my instincts and bought the one with a white dial. Now I regret it everyday and every time I look at my timepiece I wish the dial was black instead of white. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against white dials it's just i'm 18 and I think the black dial would would suit my lifestyle more. Is there anyway I could change the dial color to black? Please any feed back would be very helpful I really need to get this done for myself..

Black dial variants are for stainless steel cased model, likewise the hands are different to yours, so short answer is no, not by IWC and likewise their agents and it would invalidate any guarantee remaining as model would not match card. Sorry!
One point I would make, your watch in all dial variants has no lume, black dial variant therefore can be difficult to read.
You do have a beautiful watch as is, and in time your tastes will change and I would keep and wear it.

Thank you for your reply Greg, Im just thinking if it would be possible to transform my IW371480 to IW371482 which does have the red gold case the only difference I noticed is the blue/gold small second hand for the chronometer. But if you say that it is not possible then thank you for your help and your'e right my taste will surely change.

371482 has an ardoise dial, slate grey, but it's changing the reference number which is the problem. It's not the physical cosmetic change that's the issue, it's the fact that the records would not correspond and it would be above their wish to change for you and each and every other person whether first or third owner. Likewise Perpetual models have dials in various languages but dial changes may not be possible to suit the customers language of choice.
