    Hi there,

I could please use some help identifying a watch. My father passed away about 12 months ago, and he used to collect watches. I've been given three of them, and one of them is an IWC - but I know nothing about watches if I'm being honest.

It looks like this - www.iwc.com/en/collection/portugieser/IW3776/ except there are no numbers, the strap is metal, and the moon dial bit is at the bottom. I've read this thread which is of something similar:

    www.iwc.com/forum/en/discussion/28411/

which implies it could be a fake, except mine doesn't have the writing at the bottom of the face, the hands of the dials aren't pointed, the strap is very different and everything is silver.

I'll try uploading some pictures to a URL and linking here, but if anyone could shed some light as to what I've got in my hands, that would be great.

At least on my computer, I am not able to see your pictures. Here is the proper method.

HTTPS is criticle, so I placed the links

Hope it works by cops and paste, but it looks like a fake ?!

The Watch is trying to be Ref 3770 "Grand Complication" or Ref 1868 "Il Destriero Scafusia" which is misspelled on the caseback.

    It's not a real IWC - sorry
