Help Identifying IWC Portofino Regulateur Automatic Watch

Hello everyone,

I recently received a watch from my Dad and was trying to identify which type of IWC it is, I've searched quite extensively already and can't seem to find it. My Dad also isn't quite sure because he does international business and gets quite a few expensive watches as gifts that he never uses, he let me pick one and I chose this one because it's an automatic watch and the movement is quite unique. I have attached several pictures and a video showing the movement. Please let me know if any other pictures or video will help in identifying the watch. Thanks!!

Unfortunately, it's a fake.

I see, I had thought it might be but the quality is very impressive still even if it is a fake. Just curious, how are you able to tell it's a fake? I thought it might have something to do with the 2345678 or the 1/500 numbers on the back?

Also, which real IWC watch is it trying to replicate?

Sorry to have to say this, but this is a cheap fake, nothing like a real IWC.

There are several giveaways - the style with the balance visible from the front like this is quite common among fakes. And the only model called "Regulateur" was a Portugeiser model with the hands arranged in a differant way. And of course the numbers are fake too.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll actually wear this watch considering it's only worth a few hundred and not thousands, lol, I'd feel really bad if I scratched a really expensive watch.
