I'm continuing to build up my watch collection. It consists of a hand full of Rolex's and an IWC Big Pilot.

I really want to get an IWC Ceramic and having a hard time to deciding between 2 options. I'd really appreciate all of your thoughts.

Option 1 - Doppelgraph Ceramic Top Gun IW3799-01
    - Price is in the mid $8k
    - Previous owned and mint
    - Full box and papers
    - 46MM

Option 2 - Doppelgraph Ceramic Pilot Limited Edition (1000 made) IW3786
    - Price is around 13k
    - Previously owned and mint
    - Full box and papers
    - 44MM

My dilemma as I really like them both:
    - My big pilot is a 46...it's a bit large for me but I like it. The 44 could be a bit better and easier to wear more often. But not a deal breaker
    - I do like the face that the 3786 is a limited edition but is it work $5k more.
    - I'm not 100% sure if I love or don't love the top gun branding vs. just normal pilot branding

With that said...I'd love to know the community thoughts.

Option 2.. You won't have the silly Top Gun branding and the longevity (and value) of the watch will remain strong..

Option 2, I'm not a fan of the "top gun" pieces

Very very nice! I would have picked the other option. Sounds like I am the only one that would have! Good on you.

Thanks for the support. I really love the Top Gun as well and I'm hoping at some point I can add that to the collection. This one just seemed like the right move and I found one in amazing condition full box and papers.

Great choice, by far the best looking ceramic pilot ever!
