Help needed identifying an IWC watch myself and my brother have inherited

Hi all,

Myself and my brother recently inherited a small watch collection from our
Grandfather. We're currently going through and cataloguing each watch, but as
we're both complete novices when it comes to watches we're trying to reach out
to experts as much as possible. One of the timepeices is an IWC which I assume
is relativly old. I notice there is a number on the back of the watch which
is: 2487505, unfortunately I havent been able to glean anything from this.

Any help identifying the watch would be hugly appreciated!

it Seems you have one of the earlier Quartz models in hand. It Seems Its a
quartz Portofino with Roman numerals. Found similar one in google, one I found
was in steel and measured 34mm. Midsize. I have no closer info...

the watch is most probably a IWC Portofino Romain Ref.: 2009 in 18k Gold. The
watch is equipped with an ultra flat manual wound movement of calibre 182
based on an ebauche of Jaeger Le Coultre. The movement has a height of just
1.82mm. This reference was produced around the 1994 to 1996.

Really nice watch, was looking at one for quite a while.
