I just returned from a family, summer holiday with infrequent forum participation in the last couple weeks from my mobile phone.

Exciting watches have been posted here in the last week. I dare say that Perpetual Calendars and moon phase displays are so yesterday's news. Tourbillons are now der rigeur on the forum - who is next? Larry? Come on man.. go for it.

So here is a most boring photo of his and her Portuguese - one of mine, the 5021 Perpetual Calendar - and my wife's Portuguese Automatic Chrono 3714.

She has been wearing this watch quite a bit lately - and beats the living daylights out of it - with not so much wear evident.

    tourbillons, shmourbillons...

yep tourbillons are fascinating and we all want one, but just one.
for me though, my favourite portuguese are the chrono automatic and the automatic.
is your wife's platinum? i haven't seen a white face in steel before?
love the PPC too. classic elegance and every bit as much a grand complication as a tourbillon and you can wear it work without wrapping it in polystyrene.

I vote for His and Her Portugieser >

Minute Repeaters as the new [i]in[i] examples to have Richard. So, I think you and Mrs, Sheridan are on track.

BTW: Mrs. Sheridan's watch does not look beat-up at all.

    Cheers from Isobars

    A great combo! Who's next?

I guess it will be you. I know you can't resist the Ardoise dial of the PRT.

    His 'n' hers

Once I found a small strap (courtesy of the Zurich boutique), Mrs E wears the small Portuguesiers on special occasions, such as tomorrow's visit to the museum in Schaffhausen.

    Perfect

    Dear Richard

Nice to see you are doing so well with your wife.
I am trying to persuade Natassa, no luck so far though.
Still I will not give up...

                    Best regards

Yes - her 3714 is steel...

She got this watch about 4+ years ago - I was thinking that this was the most popular version of this watch - with the silver dial and blued numerals/hands. While a nice watch - I find it too small, and more suitable to see it on her wrist. I honestly have worn it only once.

I am not aware of a platinum version of the 3714 - but I could be wrong.

    What? No Ardoise for her?

Richard, you should really check out the Port Chrono in WG with the diamond set bezel and Ardoise dial. A stunning watch!

Not that the 'normal' Port Chrono isn't nice but knowing your love for Ardoise, I just want to let you know :-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens
