it took me a long while to warm to the Inge Ref 3227. After some long drawn-out consideration and a search for another watch on a bracelet I finally convinced myself that this would be a good one! Managed to do a wonderful deal with a fellow forum member and received the watch on Thursday evening amid the Euro 2008 Football festivities here in Zürich. I think that the word "thrilled" pretty much sums up the way I feel at the moment.
I have seen some magnificent photos of this watch and my very first quick and dirty pales by comparison, but at least I have a pic to share.
Have a great weekend everybody. I'm going to.

    You are not alone David...>

I took the Ti option over the steel and enjoed it very much.

Warning: Did this Fellow Forum member advise you before the purchase, you will now be setting-off metal detectors at 75 m? You are also banned from the entire CERN Complex.

Have a great weekend...Spitfire Laureus for me.

    Cheers from Isobars.

Marvelous piece. A daily wear, tough guy watch.

Even though is is a heavy weighty, it wears very comfortably and has, what I believe, to be the best bracelet in existence.

    Congratulations on your acquisition,

    Bill

    Congratulations and....

may you wear it in good health. You are not alone in the subtle affection that goes with the Inge. I have found that for a watch that's so bold in presence it can be very discreet in the way in triggers one affection. You almost don't really care for it the first time you see it and then yet there's something that makes you try it on. Then you look at it but really don't think you'll wear it much then slowly as the time passes it grows on you. You may notice it on someone else's wrist and think wow that is striking.

Once you finally make that plunge and buy it you'll find you wear it all the time and one develops a deep affection for it. Good luck and enjoy your wonderful watch.
