    Hi,

I recently purchased this vintage IWC watch from an AD. It’s a Cal. 89 and seems to be in good condition. The dial and hands I’m not so sure about. My research leads me to believe this is a late 1940s non-military pilot-style watch, but I’m struggling to identify the specific model and I can’t find anything similar that has centre seconds and the railroad second track!

    Thanks in advance 🤞🙏

hello and welcome to the forum.

You have indeed a nice cal 89 from 1949. The case was produced around 1948.
I am not sure the dial and hands are original, never saw a combination like it, in view of the condition of the paint, I also believe this could be a repainted dial.

Maybe some other members could correct me if I am wrong.
