My first sight love in the new Pilot's line up is the Spitfire Perpetual in RG. The sunburst ardoise dial is stunning and the simplicity of the dial design is very attractive. I love the stopwatch function combining the hours and minutes in a single sub dial. Like in the DaVinci and Yacht Club chrono references, this serves as a second time zone if the chronograph is left running. The diameter at 46 mm is just right for me as well. Lastly, the big month and date displays is unique and quite easy for tired, old eyes to read.

I need more time to study the details of each of the introductions, but this one caught my eye immediately.
What is your love at first sight impression?

It was a thrilling experience as the new Pilot series unfolded in front of me. I would like to compliment IWC for launching this modern Pilot series without loosing its traditional look. The one which has attracted me the most is the Spitfire Chronograph. However, I wish IWC launches few variations of Pilot series with white dial too.
