    This morning I got the sad news that one of our collector friends passed away,
    Jens-Kristian Soegaard, born 1949.

    A lot of collectors on the forum have met Jens Kristian during collector
    meetings in Schaffhausen, or during a BBGTGAMS in Amsterdam.

    I saw a fellow collector writing something about Jens Kristian that was spot
    on: " he always had that twinckle in his eyes", always friendly and a
    passionate collector of vintage IWC watches. Our deepest condolences to his
    family,

    So sad to hear this, but thanks for sharing this and the pictures Tonny.... I
    have fond memories of Jens-Kristian whom I met during various Collectors'
    meetings. A knowledgeable, modest and extremely friendly collector with
    amazing watches.

    My thoughts are with his family, may he rest in piece.

    Tonny, thanks for sharing this information. Jens will indeed be missed. He
    became a very good friend affer our intitial meeting in Amsterdam in 2016 at
    the BBAMSGTG that year. We were the two oldest attendees and hence bonded.
    He will be missed. May he RIP.

    We will miss his presence at our meetings - a wonderful gentleman who graced
    us with his presence.

    What very sad news. I had the great pleasure of meeting Jens Kristian at SIHH
    2016 and 2019. A quiet passionate collector with humour, grace and a kind
    spirit.

    What a sad news to hear... I have met Jens at the BBAMSGTG just a couple of
    times but he was always very kind and interested and also as said before had
    that twinkle in his eyes.
    My thoughts are with his family.

    Rest In Peace Jens-Kristian. I never had the pleasure to meet in person, but
    always was enlightened and enjoyed his posts. My heartfelt condolences to

    My deepest sympathies for the passing of Jens-Kristian.
    It was my pleasure to know him as a member of our IWC family and to have spent
    time with him during the collectors meetings. He was a fine gentleman and will

    Incredibly sad news, a great loss of a tremendous collector and friend. I am
    so fortunate to havebeen able to spend time with Jens-Kristian over the years,
    a kind gentelman who was always a pleasure to be around; a man of pure class.

    So sad to hear this. I spoke with Jens-Kristian on numerous times on IWC-
    events. I got to now him as a passionate collector, always interested and
    kind.

    Indeed so very sad...

    A kind, giving and knowledgable man that is now sorely missed.

    I have met Jens-Kristian on numerous occasions here in Denmark both at watch
    meetings and privately and I feel grateful for the time spent and for having
    gotton to know such a good person.
