    Hello everyone. First post here. Thinking of acquiring my first IWC.

    I have the link to the photo of the watch. I believe it has a 17 jewel caliber 402 but not sure. Google did not turn up any info on the watch.

    Does anyone have more information? Caliber? Model number? Etc.? Any info appreciated. Thanks.

    Reference 2401 with calibre 403

    As you can see, I have an almost identical watch to the one you are contemplating. I find the dial beautiful and the movement very reliable. Be aware, however, that by today's standards the watch is small - I still like and wear mine but it does look tiny next to today's Portugieser and Pilots. A true dress watch, though, slim and classic with the striking black roman numerals on the very white dial.

    positioning of the indices...

    very distinctive in the 360 ° format. I prefer indices aligned.
