Ingenieur Forum Collectors Edition IW3227-05

Hello,

I'm a watch collector of many brands, all Swiss, one of my favorites is IWC and I've owned several in the past (Mark, Aquatimer, Ingenieur). So far I had not found "my IWC" but I was eyeing the 322701 for several years but the right package never came along at a price I agreed with. So I'd like to share that I've purchased the forum collectors' edition Ingenieur #6x which was originally owned by Dr. H. G (not disclosing all details for privacy reasons). The watch was not bought from him directly. I don't want to speculate on reasons why it was available after his 20 years ownership especially after seeing that his last activity on the forum was 4 years ago.

The watch has now come into another collector hands and will be cared for and appreciated. It will not be sold on simply for being a collectors' edition, more importantly with a previous owner who was a hardcore IWC collector.

Huge congrats and great to see that awesome watch has come to loving hands again. I knew Mr. H. G. personally and know that the watch was loved for many years by him as well. He was a very active member of this Forum too and even painted a picture of the watch which might be still in the archives here (somewhere hidden).

I don't know why he turned away from IWC one day. Don't have any contact for many years now. But I hope he's still doing fine.

A picture of the beautiful watch would be great. At least the dial side. ;-)
