Terrific pictures, Alan! I really appreciate your taking the time to post them. I know it can be hard to take good photos in a show setting, but you did a superb job.
From the photos, I really like the looks of the Miramars. They do look like they hang over your wrist a bit. Do they, or was it just camera angle? Did you find them thicker than a regular BP?
Thank you for all the great pictures!
Absolutely great pictures, thank you, Alan!
That ardoise sunburst dial, and the steel bracelet, on the Spitfire Chrono: this is one superb watch! And its size fits my type of watch, not too giant: great! Sometimes watches seem to be built for someone...
Kind regards,
Paul
I agree Paul, the Spitfire Chronos are absolutely beautiful. It is a size I can pull off and the dial is just great!
Thanks so much Alan for your excellent pics! All of us on the 'homefront' appreciate your efforts!
Thanks Alan for taking the time to post photos. All are great shots
It would be great if you can share with us the feeling of putting on the 48mm BP Miramar. Does it feel big compared with the old BP? Comfortable?

Two points...
I have a relatively small wrist which does not stop me from enjoying a large (maximum 48mm) watch. So there is some hangover.
But part of that is due to the light overhead . I had to tilt it a bit to keep the reflection from washing things out.
But don't get me wrong. These are mostly big watches.
Felix,
As MF pointed out the strap is probably going to change a bit. The sample was a bit stiff. But the watch is relatively light and looks great. You have to remind yourself that it is a Big Pilot.
But if you like the more rugged look , this is the watch for you.
Great pics! Thanks Alan

Dan

Thank u a lot Alan!I have at least a year to log in to the forum and this was the perfect post for a catch up!
Greetings from Geneva!!
What a fantastic event - being an SIHH rookie I must say this whole experience have just been wonderful. Great watches indeed, but I must say even more great people.
I will post more in the days to come, giving my impressions and a few pictures. However, with all the observations and experiences very fresh in my mind, I just wanted to say that my favourite of the new line is also the Spitfire chrono (on the dark brown leather strap). For those of you who liked that, to me this is the winner of the new lot!!!
