Hello to all. I just registered today and look forward to learning more about IWC timepieces.
By way of introduction, I’ll follow the moderator’s list of questions:
1. Where are you from ( country/state ) ?
Northern Ontario, Canada.
2. How did you become a collector of IWC watches ? What was the key factor for you to buy an IWC ?
I inherited an IWC wristwatch from my father many years ago. (I’ll provide more details about the watch in a separate post.)
3. Which IWC watch(es ) you have ?
I have an 18 k yellow gold cal. 8541, square case and gold bracelet.
4. What is your next IWC ? Or your holy grail from IWC ?
I’m very much a novice as far as watch knowledge so hopefully I’ll acquire enough information through this forum in order to make an informed decision on those points.
5. Are you interested to meet other collectors during a collectors meeting ?
It would depend on the meeting location.
6. What is your profession and other hobbies ?
I’m a retired lawyer. I enjoy scuba diving and skiing, as well as occasional flight simulation sessions.
