Hi all, my IWC pilot UTC doesn't want to start ticking even after I wounded up. The only way to making it start to tick is by either pulling the crown all the way out then pushed back in or shaking it. I am thinking about taking it to my local IWC boutique this coming week but would like to hear what do you guy think is going wrong inside my watch ( technically ).

I also have to shake my Inge with the 80110 movement mildly into life, after which it keeps running until the power has been fully used. I'm not so sure this is a bad thing, and it doesn't bother me. The only thing is to shake before setting the time precisely, otherwise you have to start up that procedure again. A nuisance if you use the radio signal of eight o'clock in the morning to set the time.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Paul, get yourself a radio-controlled Quartz wallclock. That way you can set the time any time of the day :-)

    Kind regards,
