Is this possible that I sent the Big Pilot 5002 to IWC for service and ask them to upgrade the movement to 21600BPH movement ? Thanks!

    you can't have calibre upgrades....

....that's IWC policy. You'd need a whole new movement (there are a lot of changes and parts) and IWC doesn't sell movements by themselves. Sorry.

    Is a new movement possible?

If for example the movement is damaged beyond repair, will IWC install a slow beat movement or a new one?

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    a hypothetical contrary to fact?

    Hi cinq,

Because each of the parts oif a movcement are replaceable individually, it's hard for me to imagine a movement damaged beyond repair. That's especially true if a movement could be so damaged and the case/dial not damaged.

I guess the movement could be crushed, and then the case and dial would be severely damaged --and then it's time for a new watch!

    Regards,
    Michael
