I am trying to trace some information about my fathers IWC 1216 , Ultra Thin watch purchased in 1967. In particular, the thickness of the watch and any pictures of the roman numeral dial. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has this model.

Here's a photo I found from an old IWC catalog in my files.
Taking an educated guess I'd say it's a manual wind movement with perhaps a calibre C403 which, though thin by today's styles, was not considered an ultra-thin watch.
